Serve with Us and Earn Community Service Hours
Students have the opportunity to earn community service hours and make a difference in the community by joining a local outreach organization, the Northern Nevada Dream Center. The NNDC is a faith-based organization that serves lower-income populations in Carson City and surrounding areas with food, clothing, and other necessities. Twice a month, food trucks are sent out to various neighborhoods around Carson City to bring residents much-needed food and supplies, as well as a smile, conversation, and possibly our hope in Jesus. Mr. and Mrs. Sever lead one of the food trucks on the 2nd Saturday of each month and would love to have a few students join them. If interested, please contact Mrs. Sever in the front office or click the sign-up link here: University Heights Food Truck Signup
