A strong believer that knowledge is power, Mrs. Phillips is bringing in a myriad of special guest speakers to help students and parents navigate the college and career decision process.
To date, admission recruiters from Jessup University, Western Nevada College and Embery-Riddle Aeronautical University have enlightened our students on career options and financial aid support. We also had a heavily-attended FAFSA and Financial Aid workshop with a specialist who was able to give families one-on-one assistance with their financial aid applications.
Next, we will host a special Careers in Engineering session by UNR, as well as a Trade Industry Careers presentation by Grand Canyon University. We can’t wait to see all of the amazing career paths that our students will take!
Do you love your career? If you would like to inspire the next generation to follow in your footsteps by sharing your career field insight and advice, please contact Mrs. Phillips to schedule a visit! We appreciate and value our community and the inspiration that you can provide!
