Breakfast, Then Business: Falcons Take On Wells

by | Oct 1, 2026 | Athletics, Sierra Lutheran News | 0 comments

The Falcons (5 and 1) play at Wells (4 and 1) tonight, Thursday, Oct 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

This is a nonleague game at Wells High School.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday, Oct 2, but was moved up a day. The team traveled to Wells and stayed at a hotel last night. This morning the coaches got up early and grilled a big breakfast for the players. Thank you to our football parents for providing all the food. The boys ate well and had a lot of fun hanging out together before the game. These are the kind of memories they will remember for a long time.

This is also a rematch. Wells beat us 24 to 6 back on August 21, and the Falcons have not lost since. The guys would love to even things up tonight.

According to MaxPreps, the Falcons are averaging almost 37 points and over 300 yards a game. Gabe Colonna leads the team with about 93 rushing yards and 11 tackles a game. Matt Fahey is throwing for about 119 yards a game, and Scott Schroder leads the team in receiving and is scoring 14 points a game. Wells is ranked 9th in the state by MaxPreps, so this will be a good test.

It’s a long way from home, but we are expecting a big win tonight. If you can’t make it, keep an eye out for updates.

Go Falcons!
