Nov 6, 2026 | Announcements, Sierra Lutheran News

This year, we’re introducing the students who lead and serve our Falcon family. First up are our Student Body Officers. Get to know them below!

President

Moregan Christenson

Class of 2027

Moregan Christenson, President

I’m Moregan Christenson, the President of our Student Body Government! I’m a senior here at Sierra Lutheran, and I really enjoy being a part of the community Sierra Lutheran offers. I’ve participated in a handful of extracurriculars here at Sierra and out in our community, such as performing in WNMTC’s production of Les Misérables and in Falcon Theater. One of the most important things in my life is theater, as shown by the previous productions I have done, but I wouldn’t have found that love if it weren’t for the amazing environment Sierra Lutheran created for me. I’m truly grateful for all the opportunities Sierra Lutheran has provided for me and my peers, and I’m excited to see where the 2026–27 year will take us all!

Annie McHenry, Vice President

My name is Ansley McHenry, and I’m a senior at Sierra Lutheran. I play volleyball and ski race, and I love planning and going to school dances! One of my favorite things about Sierra Lutheran is how it encourages me to grow in my Christian faith and strengthen my relationship with God. I’m grateful to be part of a community that allows me to grow both as a student and as a person while making lasting memories with my friends.

Secretary

Tristan Dries

Class of 2027

Tristan Dries, Secretary

I’m Tristan Dries, a senior at Sierra Lutheran High School, and I am honored to be the Secretary of the Student Body Government. I enjoy participating in SLHS extracurriculars like baseball and the Academic Olympics team, where we have won multiple state titles. I also really like learning and am extremely grateful for the classes and academic aid Sierra Lutheran offers. Outside of school, I enjoy playing hockey and practicing violin. If I had to pinpoint the most important part of my life, it would undoubtedly be my Christian faith, which has grown through the amazing environment I’ve been allowed to grow up in. I’m so grateful for the memories and experiences I’ve had here, and I can’t wait to see where my final year goes.

Treasurer

Chase Tack

Class of 2027

Chase Tack, Treasurer

I’m Chase Tack, a senior at Sierra Lutheran High School, and I’m thrilled to be the Treasurer of the Student Body Government. I’ve participated in multiple SLHS extracurriculars, such as Academic Olympics and Falcon Theater. My favorite hobbies are music and swimming, which you can see through my involvement in Worship Leadership and my previous job as a lifeguard. The most important part of my life is my Christian faith, which leads me everywhere I go. I’m excited to see the student body thrive through numerous fundraisers and events, and I look forward to the future of SLHS. Go Falcons!

Class Rep

Carter Redford

Class of 2027

Carter Redford, Class Rep

I’m Carter Redford, a senior at Sierra Lutheran High School, and it is beyond a privilege to serve and represent the student body. During my time at SLHS, I have enjoyed many extracurriculars, including Falcon Theater, Academic Olympics, and Worship Leadership. Outside of school, I enjoy filmmaking, creating new and exciting stories, and physical fitness. However, none of these matter as much as my identity in Jesus Christ, which Sierra Lutheran has helped me grow in. This faith stays with me everywhere I go, inside and outside of school. I look forward to bringing a memorable year to the school and helping students have the best year of high school possible through pep rallies and spirit weeks that everyone will enjoy!
