Following a quarter-long deep dive into composition, lighting, color, texture, and style, Photography students are now hitting the road to capture the beautiful world around them! Their first outing was to the state capitol, where the beautiful architecture, trees and filtered lighting offered a gorgeous avenue to explore the settings and functions on their DSLR cameras.
Throughout the rest of the year, the class will continue to participate in weekly photo shoot excursions to hone and test their photography skills in a variety of locations. By the end of the year, students will have a beautiful photo journal as a keepsake, as well as a testament to their skills that will be showcased at the Fine Arts Festival in spring.
