Boys Golf | Spring Sport
HEAD COACH • Charlie Berger
Coach Berger is passionate about making golf accessible to every student at SLHS. He equips young golfers with everything they need to try something new—even providing a full set of clubs to any player who needs them. He believes golf is a lifelong sport that teaches invaluable lessons: patience, focus, discipline, and drive. Coach Berger emphasizes that you get out what you pour in, helping athletes understand that their effort directly shapes their success. Through golf, students learn skills they’ll carry with them far beyond the course.
Softball | Spring Sport
HEAD COACH • Candice Harris
Coach Harris played four years of Division I softball at Rider University, where she started every game of her career and earned her degree in secondary education. She brings that experience and a deep love for softball to the program. She models responsibility and heart, and builds leaders through the game, developing athletes who grow just as much off the field as on it, and who take pride in wearing the Sierra Lutheran name.

Track and Field | Spring Sport
HEAD COACH • Hannah Krenz
Coach Krenz has been a pillar of SLHS athletics for years, bringing her expertise in track and field to coach athletes in both sprints and distance running. Known for her no-nonsense approach and voice of reason, she is both respected and loved by her athletes. When she’s not teaching math and physics in the classroom, she’s helping her athletes calculate the perfect trajectory for success—applying the same precision and problem-solving skills to develop speed, strength, and endurance on the track.
