Chapel Service
Join our school community for worship, fellowship, and inspiration

Our Chapel is a non-denominational style service that brings together our school community
for meaningful worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Chapel consists of contemporary Christian music
(led by our Worship/Leadership class), prayer, a short teaching, and announcements.
Every week, the teaching is given by a different speaker from the community – usually an SLHS teacher,
SLHS administrator, or a pastor/youth pastor from a local church.
What to Expect Each Week
- •
Contemporary Christian music led by our Worship/Leadership class - •
Community prayer and reflection time - •
Inspiring short teaching from guest speakers - •
Important school announcements and updates
Student Worship Leadership
Our worship music is led by students in our Worship Leadership Team elective class.
This course develops all-around leaders who become positive influences for the gospel, combining
musical excellence with spiritual growth and leadership skills.
Interested in joining? Start with our Music Lab Class elective, where students
begin learning how to blend their individual talents as a team, working together to build both
musical skills and strong camaraderie.
Weekly Guest Speakers
Every week features a different speaker from our community, including SLHS teachers,
administrators, and pastors or youth pastors from local churches.
All parents are invited to join us for this special time of worship and community.
